Choose a project you can test
A large list of sensors does not make a strong project. Define one user, one operational problem and measurable success criteria such as sensor error, communication reliability, alert latency, energy consumption or decision accuracy.
Plan the architecture

- Communication protocol
- Storage and processing
- Dashboard or user interface
- Authentication, privacy and failure handling
Document evidence, not just features
Record calibration, test conditions, failed trials and limitations. Compare results against a baseline. Examiners usually value a system you understand and evaluate honestly more than an oversized prototype with unsupported claims.
